Standing in
the middle here
Waving my
thoughts back and forth
Remembering
many a yesteryear
And thinking
of the coming ones…
Yesterday I
know now
‘Cos my life
through it ploughed
But for
tomorrow my heart fears foul
It’s a dawn
whose colour I ‘ve not found
While with
throbbing heart
My shaking
limbs choiceless forward march
Feet gripping
new earth
And forward
a-surging into this new batch
I will not hope
a new light nor fear renewed fights
Because it
will be a tomorrow with You.
